The 3.11 g (1/10 oz) Gold Phoenix combines the intrinsic value of an investment coin made of 999.9 fine gold with the divisibility of its lower weight class. It is minted in a diameter of 16.5 mm in bullion quality, with a proof-like finish.

The Gold Phoenix Coin is inspired by the symbolism of the mythical bird - immortality and renewal, incarnated in pure investment gold. It is made of 3.11 g (1/10 troy ounce) of 999.9 fine gold, with a diameter of 16.5 mm. This is the first coin Bulmint has manufactured and distributed under its own brand.

The reverse, in bullion proof-like quality, depicts the image of a phoenix surrounded by a fiery blaze. Its plumage is recreated in stunning detail via high relief. Hidden among the flames is a latent image as a built-in security feature - when observed from different angles, the stylised flame gives way to Bulmint’s logo. In a matt circle around the composition, the technical specifications of the coin are inscribed.

The obverse depicts a glossy image of King Charles III against a matt background, along with the face value - 25 New Zealand Dollars, and the year of mintage - 2024.

Gold and silver investment coins do not come with a certificate.

Investment gold is exempt from VAT under Art. 160 (1) of the VAT Act.
