Saint George Medal Collection

Saint George takes his triumphant place in the design of our newest collection as an allegorical symbol of the triumph of the Christian faith over evil, а symbol of courage, and a patron of the Bulgarian army.

We recreated the epic battle between the holy warrior and the dragon in the form of two precious metal products of exceptional purity - a gold and a silver medal minted in proof matt-gloss quality. Saint George’s armour, the straps of his steed’s saddle and the dragon’s scales have a captivating gleam, owed to their special satin finish - an effect that gives the scene an additional mythical feel.

The medals come in a luxury wooden box with an elegant glossy finish and a gold-coloured logo - a classy accessory suitable for both preserving this timeless treasure and for displaying it.

The “Saint George” medal collection is the first in our “Orthodox Saints” program. We dedicated it to the saints millions of Christians turn to with prayers for good health and protection, aid and spiritual guidance. It will consist of 12 medal collections dedicated to 12 holy men and women central to Eastern Orthodox Christianity. Each motif will be struck to proof matt-gloss quality onto two medals made of the finest gold and silver. The reverse design shared by the products in this program was inspired by the gilded iconostasis from the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Rila Monastery.
