4 museums received “Vasil Levski - 150 Years of Immortality”, 15g medals as donations for their exhibitions

In honour of the 150 year jubilee of the death of the Apostle of Freedom we created the “Vasil Levski - 150 Years of Immortality” 15-gram silver medal - 1873 pieces, a reference to the year of his death.
It was our intention to pay our respects before the immortal legacy of Bulgaria’s greatest hero. But the limited mintage inspired us to seek out new ways to preserve this important date for future generations and to give a wider audience the chance to see the medal - by donating 4 pieces to four historic institutions.
The “Vasil Levski - 150 Years of Immortality” silver medal joined the collections of 4 museums
National and regional museums from all over Bulgaria did us the honour of including the commemorative medal in their collections, so that a wider audience may one day see this physical manifestation of the monumental date, struck in fine silver.
We donated “Vasil Levski - 150 Years of Immortality” silver medals to the National Museum of History in Sofia, the Plovdiv Regional History Museum, the Vasil Levski National Museum in Karlovo, and the Lovech Regional Historical Museum.
Some of the donations were personally presented by representatives of Bulmint. The director of the The National Museum of History DSc. Bonni Petrunova, PhD received the medal from Yuliana Stoyanova, the office manager of our Sofia showroom. The director of the Plovdiv Regional History Museum also personally accepted the donation from a member of our team - Tsvetelina Gercheva, Bulmint’s Regional Manager.
The Apostle’s freedom of spirit and revolutionary ideology continue to inspire new generations. The 15-gram “Vasil Levski - 150 Years of Immortality” silver medal will stay available for purchase on our website and in our showrooms in Sofia and Plovdiv until it reaches its mintage limit. Whether it will one day join the exhibitions of the four museums that received our donations - time will tell.
