Representatives of the Embassy of Germany and the GBCIC visit Bulmint’s base

On May 30, representatives of the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, among which were delegates from the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bulgaria, visited Bulmint’s base of operations - a standard procedure for new members. It included a tour of the production plant and a discussion about the future of our relations with the German market.
It was our honour to welcome Moritz Zeiler, head of the economic department of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Tania Gerginova, the GBCIC’s head of administration and institutional relations, and Dr Mariana Tcholakova, Honourary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Plovdiv into our facility. They enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look inside the only private mint that is currently a member of their organisation. What piqued their interest the most were our plans to invest in the German economy. In Moritz Zeiler’s experience, it is rare for a Bulgarian company to pour resources into the Western country - the opposite is far more common, making us one of the few exceptions.
Bulmint became a member of the GBCIC in January 2023, opening the doors to a plethora of new opportunities for development in the international market - from networking event participation to conditions that facilitate the strengthening of existing business relations and the establishment of new ones with German companies and institutions based in their home country as well as here in Bulgaria. We were grateful for the opportunity to meet three of the Chamber’s esteemed leading representatives and to show them our technological capabilities - and our commitment to our continued partnership for the mutual benefit of the two countries.
